The Osei family turned their kitchen table into a weekly lab
Every Sunday after lunch, the Osei table gets cleared for what the three kids call 'lab hour.' It started as a way to keep screens off during a rainy season and turned into a fixture nobody wants to skip.
The rule is simple: one question, chosen by whichever child's turn it is, and one hour to try to answer it with whatever is in the house. They've built a working barometer from a jar and a balloon, and once spent three weeks trying to grow salt crystals the size of a fist.
Their mother, Efua, keeps a shelf of the results — failed and finished — visible in the hallway. Neighbours have started sending their kids over on Sunday afternoons too.
