What this is
Every month, local chapters open their doors for a hands-on Saturday build. No experience required — families arrive, are handed a kit and a question, and leave with something they made together. Recent workshops have covered simple circuits, kitchen chemistry, and building musical instruments from recycled materials.
Workshops are led by trained chapter volunteers using a script from Curiosity Ally™, so the quality is consistent whether you're in Nairobi or Newcastle. Each session ends with a five-minute reflection circle, where children describe what surprised them.
Workshops are free for members and a small materials fee for guests. Most chapters run a waiting list — book early, especially for the ever-popular Robot Petting Zoo.
